GreenSpace & Go now offers breakfast menu in Royal Oak
Plant-based restaurant GreenSpace & Go in Royal Oak is now serving vegan breakfast items to go.
Greenspace & Go is a quick-serve vegan restaurant and a spin-off of Ferndale’s popular GreenSpace Café restaurant and bar.
Located at 32867 Woodward Ave. (south of 14 Mile) in Royal Oak, the restaurant already serves lunch and dinner. The breakfast items join a menu that includes bowls, smoothies and soups.
Breakfast offerings will be available 6-10 a.m. Monday-Friday and all day Saturday. One the menu are gluten-free waffles with organic toppings, biscuits and gravy, cinnamon rolls, avocado toast, fresh bowls and organic coffee. Prices ranges from $3 to $10.
GreenSpace & Go and Greenspace Café are owned by Dr. Joel Kahn, a Bloomfield Township cardiologist who’s an advocate of preventing and reversing disease with a plant-based diet; his wife, Karen, and son Daniel.
As the name suggests, the Royal Oak establishment is a place offering quick-serve, grab-and-go options.
“Offering nutritious, creative and traditional breakfasts for the busy person on their way to work, parents and their children, senior citizens and students — and for catered corporate events has been our long-term goal,” Joel Kahn said in a news release. “We are proud to offer an easily accessible plant-based breakfast menu that has never been available in the area until now.”
