ARaymond Network, an automotive supplier of fastening and assembly solutions, is celebrating 155 years in business.

The family-based business was launched in France as a button company in 1865, and has grown internationally, employing 7,250 employees in 25 countries.

ARaymond came to Michigan in 1987, when it launched a joint plastics venture with Molmec, according to a press release.

In addition to two manufacturing facilities in the area, ARaymond also has its North American headquarters and a sales and engineering office in Rochester Hills.

Locally, ARaymond is involved with the community by supporting local charities including Grace Centers of Hope in Pontiac, Gleaners Food Bank and Blessings in a Backpack.

General Motors recently announced ARaymond India as a recipient of their 2019 Supplier Quality Excellence Award.
