Video for the Detroit NAACP 62nd Annual Fight for Freedom Fund Dinner
At the April 23, 2017 Detroit NAACP Fight for Freedom Fund Dinner, McDonald’s owner, Jim Thrower was recognized as being a co-chair of America’s largest sit-down dinner.
With more than 5,000 guests in attendance, Thrower was asked to develop an introduction video of himself. Marx Layne was asked by the Thrower organization if we knew of any videographers to help with this project.
The only requirement was that the video was to be one minute long. Within a few days, the Marx Layne team had an outline of the points that needed to be covered, along with an outline of the important shots. We worked with Jim Thrower and his organization to shoot the video in one morning.
Given creative license, were able to utilize a drone shot that captured the Golden Arches shinning brightly over the City of Detroit, manipulate timing to show the hustle and bustle of the location, and showcase the great McDonald’s employees.
