GRAND RAPIDS, MI — Feeling lucky? Get ready for Irish on Ionia’s return with presale tickets and general admissions going on sale this weekend.

The St. Patrick’s Day street festival returns this year for its 10th anniversary from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, March 18. The event is hosted by HopCat and will feature Irish-themed food, beer and entertainment. There will also be local craft beer and cocktails.

Presale general admission tickets go on sale starting Saturday, Feb. 11 for $20. That price goes up to $25 the next weekend, starting on Saturday, Feb. 18. The $25 price is good until the day of Irish on Ionia, when day-of tickets at the gate cost $30 while supplies last.

The VIP (Very Irish Person) package tickets are $65, and include fast pass credentials, allowing re-entry throughout the day. The VIP tickets also include an Irish on Ionia T-shirt, a commemorative 22-ounce mug and Irish on Ionia drinking gloves.

After dark tickets are also available, which allows admission only after 7 p.m., for $15. All tickets are only available for those age 21 or older.

Tickets are available for purchase at irishonionia.com or in-person at Grand Rapids Brewing Company, HopCat locations and Stella’s Lounge starting at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 11.

This is the first Irish on Ionia since 2019. The event, making its return after three years, spans three city blocks. It goes along Ionia Avenue from Fulton Street to Oakes Street and across West Street from Ionia Avenue to Commerce Avenue.

Mainstage entertainment this year includes DJ Dolce, Motor City Irish Dancers, Crossbow, DJ Danimal, Sean Boney, Leprecons, Keller Shaw and more. At the Irish Jig tent, performers include Ironwood, DJ Composition, Monica Parker and Wakefire.

“We look forward to once again shining a bright spotlight on the fun and excitement that the Grand Rapids community can offer,” stated Ned Lidvall, CEO of HopCat’s parent company in a prepared statement.
