(WXYZ) — As we get closer to summer, now is the perfect time to zone in on your health. Dr. Sarah Corey, ND is a Traditional Naturopathic Doctor who specializes in nutrition, iridology, herbology, essential oils, homeopathy, and energy work.
She is also the In-House Naturopathic Expert for The Better Health Stores across Michigan. And on Saturday, May 8, she shared information on cleanses and detoxes designed to eliminate toxins from your body, naturally, healthy, and safely. She also shared a juice cleanse recipe. It’s posted below. Removing toxins can improve your energy, help you lose weight or start a weight loss program, help with headaches, muscle aches and fatigue and give you relief from constipation.
JUICE CLEANSE RECIPE (enough for 1 day):
• 1-2 whole stalks organic Celery (chopped in long stalks, washed from dirt)
• 1 organic Pineapple (peeled and diced into bits)
• 2-3 generous handfuls of organic Kale/Spinach/Dandelion Greens (washed)
• Juice all in juicer of choice, mixing together well after juicing.
• Drink 8-10 oz. immediately upon juicing.
This depends on total ounces juiced.
Make sure there are 2 other equal portions reserved for lunch and dinner (another 16-20 ounces).
Store the remaining juice for lunch and dinner in a wide mouthed Mason jar, tightly sealed to maintain freshness, in the back of the refrigerator
